Using suction to pull qi (energy) and stagnant blood to the surface, aids in improving blood flow. Great for circulation, loosening scar tissue and releasing muscle tension.
Warmed smooth bamboo sticks are integrated into a flowing Swedish massage. It brings the warming, soothing effect of hot stone into massage without being too hot and adds a compression through the massage to sore muscles.
Made of pure Himalayan salt, containing 84 natural minerals, these stones can be used heated or cold to improve circulation, works to reduce blood pressure levels, support the respiratory system and provide a gentle exfoliation to the skin. The salt also releases negative ions into the air, which is good for your mind and spirit.
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing method in which a trained professional uses a smooth-edged tool to stroke your skin while they press on it. This motion raises small, red, rash-like dots that show under your skin called petechiae. People use gua sha to treat chronic pain all over their body. I use tiger balm sometimes to aid in this treatment with the client's consent.
Cold marble stones are used to reduce inflammation in your body and improve your circulation. Cold slows blood flow, reducing swelling and pain. It's often best for short-term pain, like that from a sprain or a strain.
A treatment that helps skin, muscle tissue and other parts of your body heal. It exposes you to low levels of red or near-infrared light, a type of energy your eyes can’t see, but your body can feel as heat. Red light is similar to infrared, but you can see it. A part of your cells called mitochondria, sometimes called the “power generators” of your cells, soak it up and make more energy. Cells repair themselves and become healthier. This spurs healing in skin and muscle tissue.
An assortment of medicated topical ointments customized based on your specific needs, that can be applied for spot-specific treatment of pain, injury and tension. Some of the liniments I offer include but are not limited to: White flower. Biofreeze, Tiger balm. Arnica gel, Po Sum On oil, Zheng Gu Shui and more.
For those areas of tension that need additional help. This Theragun Pro smart percussive therapy device enhances muscle recovery, releases stress and tension and soothes discomfort. Try it during your session to really get into those spots that just won't give up
If you are not sensitive to scents, choose from a selection of essential oils to enhance your experience. Cedar wood, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender and Eucalyptus.
Using Tibetan singing bowls placed on the body and around it, the vibrations of the sound frequencies helps to relax the body, ease anxiety and supports the nervous system.
Calibrated metal tuning forks apply specific vibrations to different parts of the body and can help to gently release tension and energy and promote emotional balance. Similarly to acupuncture, using sound frequencies for point stimulation instead of needles.
For those that enjoy a softer energetic approach to your session. Tuning forks that resonate soft vibrations and sound for each Chakra. Guided meditation or mantras to help you focus on emotions you are working on letting go or need strengthening.
Warm towels to wrap your feet in and one at the end of your session to help clean off before heading back into reality.
Weighted eye pillow to relax after staring at screens all day or to help shut light out for your session. Can be heated or cooled depending on weather.
Warm cocoa butter to help nourish the skin in the cold winter months. Smells like chocolate and feels divine! Available only seasonally for a limited time.
